Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Bluefield Software Inc. (“Bluefield”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information in connection with this website and the Bluefield service.

Last updated 8 October 2026

1. Scope

We are a British Columbia company and handle personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act (British Columbia) and, where applicable, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (Canada). Where a market organization uses the service to collect and manage information about its vendors and contacts, that organization determines why the information is collected and how it is used, and we process it on the organization's behalf as a service provider. Requests about those records should be directed to the organization in the first instance.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide through our forms or the service, such as name, email address, organization, account details and content you submit; records of activity within the service; and standard technical data such as IP address and browser type.

3. Use and disclosure

We use personal information to provide and support the service, respond to enquiries, secure the service and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information. We disclose it to service providers who perform services for us, such as hosting, communications and payment processing, and where required by law. Information may be stored and processed outside Canada, including in the United States.

4. Cookies

We use cookies where needed to operate the service and this website. We do not use cookies for advertising.

5. Retention and safeguards

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes above, to resolve disputes and enforce agreements, and to meet legal requirements. We delete or return a customer's data after termination as provided in its agreement, except where we must retain it for legal, tax or accounting purposes. We use safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If a privacy or security incident affects personal information, we will respond and give notice where required by law.

6. Your rights, questions and complaints

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to or correction of your personal information, or withdraw your consent where consent is the basis for our use of it. Questions, requests and complaints may be sent to our Privacy Officer, Bluefield Software Inc., at legal@bluefieldsoftware.com. We will investigate and respond to complaints in accordance with applicable law.

7. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date of the latest revision appears above.
